A coffee shop [late-night coffee shop/hall Tamon] (Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) was born in Kiyamachi, which is open until 4:00 in the morning. The owner had been running a late-night coffee shop in Kita-Shirakawa to provide a place for people who need a place to spend the night, but decided to open a coffee shop in the city in hopes of creating a place where more people can come.
The slightly dark and relaxing atmosphere of the store is filled with antique furniture, including a Thai desk brought from his grandparents' house and chairs that were used in a coffee shop in the old days. The shop is filled with the hope that customers can feel the lingering scent of a Showa-era pure coffee shop in a space where old things have been passed down from generation to generation.
