DRAGON BURGER is popular for its hamburgers made with Japanese ingredients such as kujo leeks, sansho (Japanese pepper) and wasabi (Japanese horseradish). Following the Tofukuji and Fushimi Inari stores, the third store in Kyoto opened near Nanzenji Temple.
The menu here was created by Adam Lawson, who was the champion of a burger competition held in London for two consecutive years, and all burgers are made with Japanese wagyu beef and kujo leeks. The lineup includes a Kyoto classic with egg yolk sauce, Kujo leeks, Japanese mustard, and leek miso, as well as burgers with daikon radish and yuzu kosho mayo, and wakame seaweed and wasabi mayo, all of which are creative in their own way.
Spiced fries with sansho (Japanese pepper) and shichimi (seven spices) as a side dish and a selection of drinks and juices that go well with hamburgers are also available, so stop by for lunch or a break during sightseeing.
