Aya Iwamoto, the owner, opened this Korean restaurant in her hometown. Ms. Iwamoto, who has sold handmade kimchi at marche and held miso classes, also uses a lot of homemade fermented food in her restaurant's dishes to convey their appeal.
Possum Korean set meal: 980 yen. The set meal includes steamed pork belly, served with homemade sauce made from soy sauce and malted rice, meat soup, and spicy simmered shishamo fish.
They make all of their own kimchi from seasonal vegetables and other ingredients, as well as fermented seasonings such as miso, gochujang (red pepper paste), and soy sauce. For lunch, they offer set menus and bowls of rice topped with kimchi, namul, soup, and other dishes.
Kimchi from 300 yen. Spicy cucumber based on gochujang (red pepper paste), refreshing sweet and spicy tomatoes with sweet vinegar, and spicy surume, a perfect accompaniment to alcoholic beverages, are popular!
