A four-minute walk from Marutamachi Subway Station, the restaurant's clean white curtain catches the eye as you walk west on Isigawa Street. This is the restaurant where Mr. Fukuyasu, who honed his skills in Japanese cuisine for 20 years, established his own restaurant in the summer of 2023.
Masami Fukuyasu, the owner, was born in Tokyo and moved to Kyoto 20 years ago to train as a chef. His hobby is eating and drinking. He fell in love with sake after discovering Aomori's "Tasake" (rice wine).
The restaurant offers a set meal of tempura and sashimi for lunch and a variety of a la carte dishes in addition to a course menu for dinner.
All lunch dishes are served with appetizers, so you can enjoy a glass of sake with this as a snack from noon. The owner's favorite sake "Tasake" from Aomori and other Japanese sake and shochu offerings are sure to satisfy any sake lover.
