The brick exterior of this restaurant is impressive. The owner, Mr. Hatanaka, trained at a French restaurant in Osaka, and by chance, he and his wife opened a restaurant in Yawata 10 years ago. The counter, handmade by Hatanaka, and the restaurant interior, decorated with dried flowers, create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant offers only course menus for both lunch and dinner, with prices starting at a reasonable 3,410 yen for A-lunch and up.
It is also nice to be able to eat a lot of fresh vegetables from the local [Uesugi Farm] and Hatanaka's father's own vegetable garden. The quiche, which has many fans, is also available for takeout with reservations made by the day before.
