Torimatsu, which has entertained travelers with Amino's famous barazushi and local fish dishes, will be renovated in June 2023. The owner's family home was renovated and a new business model, a noodle and café terrace [MATSUTARO], was started on the second floor, which is much appreciated by the local people.
Compared to Torimatsu on the first floor, which mainly serves kaiseki meals that require reservations, this restaurant has a more casual atmosphere. Here, you can enjoy homemade handmade udon noodles and sashimi set menus while enjoying the view of the countryside.
Tango Iso Sazae and Seasonal Vegetables Aglio Aurio, a pasta dish made with sazae raised on high-quality seaweed, is priced at 1,320 yen. Not only the meat, but also the liver added to the sauce enhances the flavor of the sea.
Of particular interest is the menu of fresh pasta dishes that incorporate the bounty of Tango, such as rock turban shells, red squid, and sea bass. The third-generation owner's love for his hometown overflows in his original pasta specializing in local ingredients made from seafood from Tango.
The Tango Sashimi Set Meal is 1,320 yen and includes sashimi that changes daily, rice made from Koshihikari rice produced in Tango, and arajiru soup. Fish of the day: Spanish mackerel, sea bass, and squid.
