Nishiki Ichiyo focuses on Uji tea. The store sells popcorn and sponge cakes made with tea, and is always crowded with people. The back of the store is a calm tea house, where you can enjoy drinks and sweets made with Uji tea while gazing at the well-tended tsuboniwa garden.
Summer-only matcha shaved ice for 1,200 yen. Shaved ice made with our specialty Uji tea and filled with shiratama and anko (red bean paste)! Drink sets are an additional 300 yen.
