Kameoka's new specialty, Kameyaki, has appeared in front of Hasuta Shrine. The owner, Tatsumi, who moved to Kameoka six years ago, took the initiative and came up with a ``specialty dish using delicious local produce.''
Mr. Tatsumi had been researching Kameoka's turtles for some time, and chose the Mino turtle attached to the plaque on the torii gate of Hasita Shrine as the model. Apparently, he worked with a potter to make a mold of an actual Mino turtle and custom-order a baking mold.
Grilled one piece at a time in the traditional ichicho-yaki style. The ingredients are naturally grown wheat from Nantan, Tamba Dainagon red beans, and plain sugar. We carefully select locally sourced and seasonal ingredients that will please your body. It doesn't use eggs or milk, so it's great that many people can enjoy it.
