After training at Il Pappalardo in Higashiyama Shichijo and in Italy, Mr. Okubo decided to open a restaurant "to provide authentic Italian cuisine in my hometown Uji. His motto is to examine each and every ingredient and to be health-conscious.
The vegetables are organically grown in Kamigamo and Kumiyama, and the meat and fish are purchased in season from specialty stores. The restaurant also uses homemade, additive-free ham and bacon, and takes the time to make the broth.
Enjoy a set meal with a choice of fresh pasta for lunch, or an a la carte or course meal with wine in the evening.
