Ever since my university days, I wanted to open a cafe someday, so I gained experience at Loftman Cafe, Clamp Coffee Sarasa, etc., and after working in a different industry, opened my own.
After working at a cafe and a roaster, the owner, Mr. Kato, has worked in a variety of jobs, including as a driver for a transportation company, as a stand-up soba staff, and as a helper at a lighting store. Through meeting various people, he realized that while there are people who are particular about coffee, there are also people who are satisfied with canned coffee.
``I like coffee myself, but I'm not a huge fanatic. I like places where I can greet people, have a little chat, and communicate with people, and I think it would be great if there was good coffee available at that place. I wanted to create a shop where people could feel free to come in even if they didn't have any knowledge of roasting,'' he says, pouring coffee with careful gestures.
