It opened in March of 2020, just before the Corona disaster struck Kyoto. The restaurant has been steadily increasing its fan base without succumbing to repeated declarations of a state of emergency. [Chef Nishimura, who honed his skills at the Otsu Prince Hotel and the Kyoto Brighton Hotel, wields a wok and serves dishes based on light Cantonese cuisine with Hong Kong and Szechuan influences.
At night, the menu features a la carte dishes that are full of originality, while lunchtime features a variety of hearty set menus. In addition to the Xi Xiang lunch, which comes with homemade siumai, spring rolls, and apricot bean curd, service lunches start at 900 yen.
