This pizzeria opened as a sister store of BIWAKO DAUGHTERS, a restaurant specializing in tsukudani (food boiled in soy sauce and sugar) of lake fish run by fishermen. The owner of the pizzeria says, "How can I taste the delicacies of Lake Biwa and vegetables from Omi at the same time? The answer is pizza. The building material for the hut, which is black like the mascot character "Namazu," is made from scraps of fallen trees from the perspective of SDGs. With the wind blowing across Lake Biwa, customers can always enjoy five kinds of creative pizzas, such as Biwa trout salmone and lake fish pescatore. Also recommended are the Namazu Burger (702 yen), a sandwich made with a black bun filled with cocoa, and the water-roasted marron coffee (486 yen), which is made without any artificial flavors. Dogs are welcome.
