Not far from Wataritsukibashi Bridge in Arashiyama, a hotel renovated from a building once used as a recreation center by Hankyu Corporation will open on Saturday, May 1, 2021.

Passing through the small gate, one enters an open space that also serves as a restaurant, and the aroma of food baking in the new oven whets one's appetite. The gate, the beams on the roof, and the trees in the garden are all Japanese-style houses that retain their original beauty. The 10 guest rooms have different atmospheres and are decorated with furniture handmade by local craftsmen in Kyoto.
