From January 6, 2024 (Sat) to February 29, 2024 (Thu), an afternoon tea featuring seasonal strawberries from Kawanishi Ichigoen, a local strawberry farm in Moriyama City, will be available at the restaurant "Grill & Dining G" of the Lake Biwa Marriott Hotel in Moriyama City, Shiga Prefecture. Strawberry Afternoon Tea will be available.
The menu features winter strawberries from Kawanishi Strawberry Orchard with high sugar content under the theme colors of "Red & White," inspired by the image of red strawberries and the snowy landscape of the mountains seen from the hotel. The menu features 8 sweets such as strawberry and condensed milk blancmange and shortcake to enhance the taste of fresh strawberries, and 3 savory dishes such as croque-monsieur and spring rolls lined with gorgeous strawberries. Ten types of drinks from the long-established German tea brand "Ronnefeldt" will be served.
