The "2023 Lake Biwa Grand Fireworks Festival" will be held in Otsu City, Shiga, on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

Lake Biwa's summer tradition, which had been postponed due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, will return for the first time in four years, since 2019. Many people have been waiting for this event, which started in 1984 and will be held for the 37th time this year.
