[RADICE near the Kyoto Gosho...
September 1, 2023 open
[Furlan (Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) opened in Teramachi, Isigawa-dori, a 10-minute walk from the Kyoto Gosho and easily accessible from the station. In a quiet and relaxing environment, you can enjoy Italian cuisine using seasonal ingredients and frieri dishes that can be served when the timing is right to purchase the ingredients.
[The Friulian cuisine served at Furlan is from the Friuli region (Friuli-Venezia Giulia) in northeastern Italy. The restaurant's name "Furlan" means "of Friuli" in the Friulian language. Chef Mizutani, who has studied in the Friuli region, prepares Friulian cuisine, which few restaurants in Japan offer.
The chic, navy and silver-toned restaurant has only eight seats at the counter. Reservations are required for dinner time, and diners can enjoy a 10-course meal featuring small portions of Ohara's wildflowers and other seasonal ingredients.
Reservations are recommended during the daytime, but if space is available, you can come in without a reservation. The dolce is also a speciality, and the gelato is freshly made and fluffy to the touch. Chef Mizutani is in charge of everything from preparation to cooking and serving, so take your time and enjoy his cuisine.
