SPICE HOLIC (Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto) opened on the first floor of a building in Karasuma Takatsuji, where you can enjoy authentic spiced curry from 8 am. Upon entering the restaurant, one is greeted by an exotic space with a lightning motif and red bricks. The store was designed by Tadahiro Butsugan of ABOUT, the same firm responsible for NOTA SHOP and Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten. The impactful design expresses the strength of spices.

This unique space offers two types of curry menus, each made with a special attention to spices. One is a chicken curry sublimated from the South Indian stir-fry dish "pepper fry," and the other is a keema curry with minced chicken meat and root vegetables. The complex aroma of spices spreads like an innazuma and is sure to become an addiction (holic).
