The restaurant has been operating for 10 years in Muromachi Gojo as Muromachi Kinugawa, and moved to a new location in 2020. The owner, who has studied at hotels and famous ryotei (Japanese-style restaurants), generously demonstrates his skills. For lunch, the restaurant offers 14 types of set menus from 1,200 yen, which is a surprisingly affordable price for casual customers.
The owner, Mr. Katsutoshi Kinugawa, entered the world of Japanese cuisine at the age of 15 and has been working in the industry for 45 years. After studying at hotels and other establishments, he became independent.
The restaurant is open mainly for course meals during dinner hours, but set menus are also available, and the course menu, which has been popular with regular customers since the previous restaurant, features pike conger eel dishes in summer and blowfish dishes in winter every year, allowing diners to enjoy seasonal fish to their heart's content. Preschool children are not allowed. The restaurant is recommended for both lunch and dinner, and is also suitable for everyday use.
