The pudding has been a favorite of regular customers since it appeared as the last dessert at Japanese Restaurant Fujii, located near the Philosopher's Path. Responding to the request of customers who wanted to be able to buy pudding in town, a specialty store was opened in an excellent location facing Shijo Street. The pudding is handmade by the chef and delivered to customers on a daily basis. The egg-free soy milk matcha green tea pudding is combined with kuromitsu and kinako (soybean flour), and the smooth pudding that makes the most of the egg's charm is served in the royal style with caramel on the top.
In addition to matcha, there are plain, roasted green tea, and buckwheat tea puddings made from soy milk, which go well with molasses instead of caramel. Seasonal puddings such as pumpkin pudding are also recommended.
