Taste traditional Kyoto cuisine at [Tazuru] in Kiyamachi
This wine dining restaurant in a quiet adult space began as a Mizutaki restaurant with a 70-year history. The third generation of senior sommeliers with hotel experience have updated the restaurant to French cuisine with the theme of marriage with wine.
The restaurant serves dishes made with Japanese chicken, Japanese black beef, and other carefully selected ingredients, paired with a selection of about 800 bottles of wine. The course (example) includes roasted Kyoto duck with its jus and red wine sauce, and the traditional mizutaki course of Kyoto Jidori chicken is also available. Only two tables are available on the riverbed.
