A fully renovated 115-year-old machiya (traditional Kyoto townhouse) for private use. With a kitchen and drum-type washer/dryer, you can experience what it is like to live in a traditional Kyoto machiya.
The Japanese-style room overlooks a tsuboniwa (tsubo garden) that is reminiscent of a garden called "roji" that leads to a tea ceremony room. You can spend a relaxing moment sitting on the sofa in the corridor while looking at the tsuboniwa garden.
