Feel history through cultural assets at [Kyoto National Museum]
The museum opened in May 1897 as a national museum that collects, stores, and exhibits cultural properties related to Kyoto, mainly from the Heian to the Edo periods, as well as conducts research and promotional activities related to cultural properties.
