Beautiful 1000 cherry blossoms [Nigoriike Nature Park]
This park was developed around Nigori Pond, an old reservoir next to the Konan Industrial Park. The park still retains the vestiges of the traffic park where children learned traffic rules in the past. The approximately 1,000 cherry trees along the Chagama River and Iko River near the park and around the pond are called "Senbonzakura," or "thousand cherry trees," and attract many cherry blossom viewers in spring.
