Handing down Japanese art to future generations along with the beautiful scenery of Arashiyama [Fukuda Art Museum]
The collection consists of approximately 1,500 works by major painters from the Edo period to modern times. The concept is to create works that will move people, even if they are not familiar with art. Particular emphasis is placed on works from the Kyoto art world, including many notable first-time exhibits and rare works.
