A cafe opened on Ichinenzaka, which runs from Kodaiji Temple to Kiyomizu Temple. The signature sweet dorayaki, which is hand-baked every morning on a copper plate, is the perfect size for a maiko-like maiko to eat in one bite, making it perfect for breaks or while walking around. We use red bean paste from a long-established store in Kyoto, and it goes perfectly with the dough that brings out its deliciousness. To match the sweetness, we prepared a medium-dark roasted coffee with a bitter taste for 500 yen. The quiet interior of the restaurant is sure to soothe your tired feet from sightseeing in Kyoto.
