I hear you can actually do take-out and tastings? We investigated the usability of the hottest spots.

Hello everyone. The other day, I introduced GOOD NATURE STATION as a "too stylish rest spot" that appeared in the city.

Previous introductory article

A must-see for café refugees! A "too-stylish rest spot" in Shijo-Kawaramachi

WebLeaf staff members have visited GOOD NATURE STATION many times, and like the rest spot we introduced the other day, there are many things you can do at GOOD NATURE STATION...!

The first floor, in particular, is actually a place where you can take out or eat in salads and sandwiches, or actually wine tasting...the more you know, the more easily accessible and user-friendly it is.

However, since the store is so stylish, some of you may have felt uneasy the first time you went there, wondering, "Am I really allowed to order here, or use this?" (WebLeaf staff was one of them. (WebLeaf staff was one of them.)

Therefore, we would like to focus on the market area on the first floor and investigate its usability!

1.Actually... there is a take-out menu.

First of all, I would like to introduce "take-out", which will be in high demand in spring. A picnic on the Kamogawa River in the spring sunshine would be a great idea.

Actually, the menu in this picture was taken out at GOOD NATURE STATION. Let us show you where on earth you can buy it!

When you enter GOOD NATURE STATION from the first floor entrance, the first thing you will see is the kitchen in the center. In fact, you can take out freshly made salads and sandwiches here.

Yes, this is the kitchen! If you get close, you can see the food menu written on it!

What kind of menu do we have...

Lots of food and drink menus! Low-temperature cooking, heirloom eggs, and other words of interest!

Basically, this market sells only organic vegetables and foods from reliable producers in Kyoto and other areas, and of course, the food menu is made with fresh vegetables. Some may find it a bit pricey, but it is worth it because you can enjoy the taste of the ingredients themselves, using only the finest ingredients.

You can also check out the actual menu in the showcase here!

Salad or sandwich...I'm torn.

After a while of deliberation, I decided to order the "5GOOD SANDWICH: Roast beef of pastured beef cooked at low temperature (with Daichi Marugoto soup)" for 1,200 yen (tax not included)!

What's in this? WebLeaf staff asking a lot of questions

This time we decided to take out, but you can also eat in at the central space on the first floor, so please let the staff know which you prefer. (The central eat-in space will be introduced later~!)

Once your order is complete, continue left to the checkout.

If you want to eat in, get a number tag here and go to the eat-in space. If you are ordering take-out, you will receive your order here and wait for a while until it is ready!

And here is the sandwich I received.

There is also a fresh vegetable salad next to the sandwich. Soup is also included! (We had a special photo taken in the store.)

The forks and soup cups are made of plastic and paper that can be decomposed by microorganisms that exist in the natural world with the environment in mind. This is because GOOD NATURE STATION is a facility based on the concept of being healthy and friendly not only to the human body and mind, but also to society, the community, and the earth. Please pay attention to that when you actually buy the product.

It looked so good that I almost ate it, but I'll save that for after I get back home... Next, I would like to try the wine tasting that I had heard so much about!

2.Actually... you can taste 16 natural wines.

I have been curious about this machine ever since I first came here.

I was curious but didn't know if I should use it...

It seems to be a "tasting machine" that allows you to sample natural wines, but I couldn't take the first step, so I decided to give it a try! First, let's check out how to use it.

It appears to be a three-step process.

You apparently need a special prepaid card, so turn around and head for the cashier. Unlike the take-out cashier mentioned earlier, you can use the cashier closest to this tasting machine!

You can purchase a prepaid card here. The card itself is free, but it cannot be used without money inside, so please tell the cashier how many yen you want to charge.

This time I charged 1,000 yen for now, but if the balance gets low, you can add more at the cashier, so you can use this one card as many times as you like.

Now it's time to put it into practice! First, put the prepaid card in the top of the machine...

The balance is displayed on the screen above the card insertion slot

Bring the glass to the spout and press the button...

A little long press and out it comes!

You can choose the amount of wine to drink from 30 ml to 150 ml, depending on your mood. Prices are mainly around 500 yen, but there are also some that can be easily tried from the 200 yen range (prices vary depending on the amount and type of wine). If you want to compare drinks, it may be a good idea to start with 30 ml.

I was so excited to get the wine that I thought, "Okay, let's go to the eat-in space next door and buy the wine I like! I was so excited, but then I found something that was perfect as a snack...! I found the perfect snack...!

3.Actually... you can buy a blend of nuts from famous stores.

I poured a glass of wine and turned around to see a large amount of nuts!

There are as many as you can dream of...!

These are nuts from Going-Nuts! [Going-Nuts!] has often been introduced in our monthly magazine Leaf, and we are happy to see them available in the city of Kyoto!

I had no choice but to buy it. I was so excited to find out how to buy it.

Then this one said that you can buy any kind of blend you like. How extravagant! You can fill the cups (M size 1204 yen, L size 1945 yen *both tax not included) with as many kinds as you like until they are full.

(Left) Turn the lever to release the nuts (Right) Put them in the cup You can put in any kind you like until the cup is full!

When you are done filling them, close the cup and go straight to the cash register. This is a great way to try different kinds of food, and most importantly, it is a great snack for wine.

4.Actually... the eat-in space is free to use.

Having obtained the best combination of wine for tasting and nuts for snacks, we moved to the eat-in space in the central part of the first floor.

The eat-in space is open to everyone!

By the way, the first sandwich you buy can also be eaten here if you ask to eat in. (Of course, salads and curries are also acceptable.) You get a number slip at the cash register and wait at this place, and they will bring it to you.
*Please note that as a rule, eating takeout items here is not allowed!

We'll eat our takeout sandwiches when we get home, so we'll be blissfully happy with a glass of wine and nuts as soon as possible.

Great to have a glass of wine at noon.

The wines you tasted are also sold by the bottle in the store, so it is recommended to compare which wine to buy. All of the natural wines here were selected by Kensuke Hasegawa, a former sommelier at Singapore's best restaurant, Andre's. We are sure that even wine connoisseurs will be satisfied with the lineup. We are sure that wine connoisseurs will be satisfied with the lineup.

And the nuts are savory and delicious.... Please be careful not to eat too much. LOL!

5.Conclusion: The spot was more user-friendly than I had imagined!

Even WebLeaf staff members who have been to GOOD NATURE STATION several times found many new "facts" this time. Whether it is a take-out picnic, a drink after work, or an eat-in lunch, the first floor offers fresh vegetables and chemical-free retort pouch products, so the more you make full use of them, the healthier and more convenient your life will be. We hope you will all try to enhance your daily life at GOOD NATURALESTATION♪

After returning to the office, I was too hungry and quickly snapped up a takeout sandwich.
Vegetables are crispy even after hours! The roast beef is tender and the bread is slightly sweet and fluffy...
I felt that a sandwich could be such an extravagant treat.
