Here is a fan made by Itoyuki, a long-established white fabric manufacturer that is particular about silk, using the fabric of a dust coat worn over a kimono, in an effort to make silk fabric more familiar to people. The thin silk cloth on the fan has a refreshing feel, and the detailed embroidery on the entire surface makes it perfect for parties and other glamorous occasions.
There are six designs, all of which are JAPAN MADE, from fabric production to embroidery to the careful tailoring of each fan by a long-established fan craftsman.
The noble chrysanthemum flower pattern ``Itogikuzushi'' and the ``Hosokamon'', which is elegantly expressed in the round ring pattern, are made of gold thread, and the ``Western flower arabesque'' is decorated with flowers and leaves on the curves of the vines. The elegant ``cherry blossom layering'' of cherry blossoms in full bloom is made with silver thread, making it even more gorgeous. The white color of ``Marunimatsu'', which features a geometric pattern of hemp leaves that prays for growth, and a pine tree that symbolizes prosperity, creates an especially refreshing atmosphere when combined with the natural coolness of silk. Each set comes with a fan bag made of matching fabric.
