The National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto is holding "Re: Start Line 1963-1970/2023: Sympathetic Relationship between Art Museums and Artists in the Contemporary Art Trends Exhibition Series" until July 2, 2023 (Sun).
The "Trends in Contemporary Art" exhibition was a series of fixed-point group exhibitions held annually from 1963, when the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto opened, to 1970. This exhibition features 66 groups, including major works, related works, documentary photographs, and archival materials related to the exhibitions, and introduces the starting point of the art scene in the 1960s, when the museum and artists were connected.
