On Saturday, March 22, 2025, "Itaya's Market," a marché event where visitors can enjoy food and experiences, will be held at [ITAYA KOBO SECONDBASE] (Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture).
ITAYA KOBO, a natural construction company in Uji, Kyoto, is holding this event for the seventh time in the hope that local residents and tourists will enjoy discovering and connecting with the new Uji area. The event will feature a variety of food, seasonal vegetables and fruits, as well as sweets that are popular on SNS and locally, and an air plant workshop is also planned. The ITAYA KOBO showroom, which will be the venue of the event, is a renovated old factory, a spacious space with a pleasant wooden smell, and an eat-in space. Visitors can enjoy a meal while warming themselves by the wood stove.
The Uji River and the World Heritage Site Byodoin are also nearby, so we recommend that you go sightseeing in Uji after enjoying the Marche. Enjoy a pleasant time with friends and family while experiencing the charms of Uji.
