Rakugo storyteller Yoshisho Tachikawa will give a solo performance, "The Road to Shin-uchi Part III," at Hulic Hall Kyoto (Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) on Saturday, December 21, 2024.
Mr. Kisho is from Kyoto City and was introduced to Danjo Tachikawa in 2010. He specializes in a technique called "gikoten," which expresses a sense of laughter similar to that of modern comedy and gag cartoons. This is the third solo performance planned to support Kichisyo, who will be promoted to the rank of manuchi next June, from his hometown Kyoto, and the guest this time is Tachikawa Danju.
