The 48th Kiyomizuyaki Festival will be held from October 18 (Fri.) to 20 (Sun.), 2024, in the Kiyomizuyaki Industrial Complex area (Yamashina-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture).
One of the largest pottery fairs in Kyoto, held annually in October, offers a wide variety of Kiyomizuyaki pottery, from one-of-a-kind pieces to easy-to-use everyday utensils. Exhibitors will bring their wares to the market in a "marché" style, so you can enjoy talking with the people involved in Kiyomizuyaki and find your favorites while listening to their stories about their pottery making and asking for tips on how to use them.
