A sake tasting event will be held in front of the Nishiki entrance of the Kyoto Daimaru Store (Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) on July 15 (Mon., holiday) and 16 (Tue.), the Yoiyama and Yoiyama days of the "Gion Festival. More than 30 kinds of sake, carefully selected by the editorial department of "Sake World," a sake media site, will be available for tasting.
At the event, visitors can sample about 30 carefully selected sake brands from all over Japan for 400 yen (60ml) per glass, and a set of three sake brands from the local Fushimi sake brewery (Tokubei Masuda Shoten "Tsuki no Katsura Junmai Ginjo Shiboritate", Kitagawa Honke "Tomio Daiginjo Junmai Ginrei", Saito Shuzo "Eikun Koto Sennen Junmai Ginjo") will be offered for 1000 yen.
