From July 15 (Mon., holiday) to September 30 (Mon.), 2024, Kyoto Cuisine Isobe will offer a special breakfast, Kyo no Yuba Goze Gozen, at the Kountei (normally closed to the public) in Nijo Castle, limited to 40 servings per day.
A total of five seasonal delicacies (main menu) using ingredients associated with court culture and the Tokugawa family are offered on a semi-monthly basis. In addition to tasting the dishes, guests can also enjoy a valuable breakfast experience with explanations of the techniques and ingredients used in Kyoto cuisine. Enjoy the beautiful garden in front of Seiryuen and Kountei while contemplating the history and culture of the area.
