Paella Summit 2024, a two-day paella festival, will be held on June 1 (Sat.) and 2 (Sun.), 2024, at the Yasuman Site Park (Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture).
The event featured the "Spanish International Paella Competition Japan Preliminary Round" for professionals aiming to become the best in Japan and the "PaellaMania Cup 2024" for high amateurs. 18 chefs from Hokkaido to Kyushu and Kochi participated in the professional division and 10 teams in the amateur division. From Kyoto, the "estilo h" team was selected as the winner. From Kyoto, two restaurants, Estilo Aceh and Hablamos, will participate in the competition, with a total of 28 teams competing. In addition, there will be a huge charity paella making event to support the Noto Peninsula reconstruction efforts, food trucks and food stalls featuring Spanish and local delicacies, a flamenco show, and many other fun and delicious events. Enjoy paella, pintxos, and other delicious dishes while cheering on the participants as they aim to be the best in Japan.
