On May 3 (Fri., holiday) and 6 (Mon., holiday), 2024, "KYOTO URBAN SPORTS DAY", an urban sports event, will be held at the Kyoto Station Building and Kyoto Research Park.
The appeal of urban sports is that participants and spectators enjoy the event as one. The event will feature Kyoto-based teams "BODY CARNIVAL (breakkin)," "KYOTO BB (3×3: basketball)," and "NEWTRAD (double Dutch)" as representative athletes. In addition to watching the performances and battle events performed by top-class performers, participants can actually enjoy themselves by taking part in a free trial session of breakin, double dutch, and 3×3 (elementary school students and older; advance reservations required).
