Sake breweries in Tango and Nakatan, Kyoto
The "8th Tango Tenju Festival 2024 - Sake Brewery Pilgrimage in Kyoto by the Sea" will be held on May 25 (Sat.) and 26 (Sun.), 2024, in the Tango and Nakatan areas in northern Kyoto.
Sake breweries themselves organize these events, and each of the eight breweries in the Tango region will be the venue for a simultaneous opening of their breweries, where visitors can enjoy tours of the breweries, local sake, and delicious local food, which are not normally accessible to the public. The event also includes special features such as sake discussions with the toji, the person in charge of sake brewing, with whom visitors usually have little contact, and sake that is not for sale, which is available only on the day of the event. Some of the breweries say that this is the only day of the year when they open their breweries to the public, so don't miss this rare opportunity! For more detailsherecheck.
