On Saturday, March 30, 2024, "Sake World Summit in KYOTO," a sake festival, will be held at the Kyoto Municipal Kangyo Kan Miyako Messe in Okazaki, Kyoto.
The event will bring together 65 breweries (companies) and approximately 250 brands of sake from all over Japan and the world, including local breweries in Kyoto and Shiga prefectures, Inato Agave (Akita prefecture), Kamoizumi Shuzo (Hiroshima prefecture), and a brewery in Hawaii, USA. At the event, visitors will be able to purchase their favorite brands in exchange for a sake ticket and compare them with their favorite sake, while holding an original sake cup in their hand.
There will also be a "PREMIUM & Heated SAKE BAR" where you can try super-premium sake and long-aged sake from participating breweries for 2,000 yen per glass, including "Eternal Radiance" from Tanabe Shuzo (Fukui Prefecture), which costs about 300,000 yen for a 4-goupe bottle (720 ml). Tanabe Sake Brewery (Fukui Prefecture)'s "Eternal Radiance" for about 300,000 yen!
