The "Nijo Castle Cherry Blossom Festival 2024" will be held at the World Heritage Site [Nijo Castle] from March 8 (Friday) to April 7 (Sunday), 2024.
The castle is home to approximately 300 cherry trees of 50 varieties, from early bloomers to late bloomers, including someiyoshino cherry trees, mountain cherry trees, weeping cherry trees, and satozakura, which can be viewed for about a month.
During the period, there will be a variety of events such as ikebana exhibitions and kitchen cars, in addition to cultural experience programs. The "Kyoto's Specialty Products Exhibition" will be held by stores offering specialty products unique to Kyoto, and other events will be held to enjoy the spring at Nijo Castle.
