The approximately 2,500-year history of Buddhism, which was born in India, spread throughout Asia and took root in Japanese society, is divided into two major sections: "Buddhism in Asia" and "Buddhism in Japan. Focusing on the supporting characters in Buddhist art, such as the "kitsuso," you can feel the rich individuality of these figures.
