Fushimi Port Park
The 18 brands that will be available for paid tasting at the "Fushimi Sake Fes." to be held for the first time in the Fushimi area on March 2, 2024 (Saturday) have been determined.
In addition to the events at the breweries, the day will also feature paid tastings at the main venue [Fushimi Port Park], food booths, stage performances, and other events throughout the area, making it fun for families as well as adults.
The "Fushimi Sake Festival" will be held for the first time on Saturday, March 2, 2024, expanding the area and scale of the "Sake Festival" held every year in March. The 18 "great sakes" from Fushimi's 18 breweries that will be available for paid tasting have now been selected.
At the main venue, Fushimi Port Park, 18 Fushimi sake breweries will exhibit their best sake, including Yamamoto Honke's Sacred Kyoto Celebration Junmai Daiginjo and Saito Shuzo's Eikun Junmai Daiginjo Genshu, and there will also be many food booths where visitors can enjoy both sake and food as well as stage events.
In the Fushimi area, 11 breweries will open their warehouses, and other events will be held at the same time, including a stamp rally that will take visitors around the local shopping area. The events are planned not only for sake lovers, but also for families. Enjoy a day in Fushimi, which has a history, scenery, and culture different from those of downtown Kyoto, while sipping delicious sake and enjoying fun events.
On the day of the event, there will be a paid tasting area and a free admission area. In the paid tasting area, visitors can sample sake from Fushimi's sake breweries. In the free admission area, there will be food booths, stage events, and a booth where sake can be purchased.
About the tasting area (advance reservations required, first-come-first-served basis)
Eighteen breweries in Fushimi will be exhibiting one of their "great sake" brands. Visitors can choose 3 kinds of sake to sample from the 18 brands. The 18 "excellent sake" brands have now been selected, so come to Fushimi on a beautiful day in March to enjoy the delicious sake and the "Kurabiraki" festival.
Admission: 1500 yen for advance tickets, 1700 yen at the door (3 sake tickets, approx. 50 ml x 3 cups, a sake cup, brewed water, and snacks are included)
In case of sold-out, no tickets will be sold on the day of the event.

About the food booths
Popular restaurants in and around the Fushimi area will open special stores. [You can enjoy a variety of gourmet foods ranging from snacks to sweets, such as yakiniku bento (barbeque bento) from "Meat Master Moritsuru," Bali-style spare ribs from "Teppan Kushiyaki Sakigura," and doughnuts from "NAYAMACHI DONUTS Kimi ni, I'll Give You".

About the Stage Event
