［The "Sweet and Sour Happiness: Strawberry Festa" featuring fresh strawberries and other limited-time strawberry sweets is being held at Gochiso Paradise on the basement floor of the Daimaru Kyoto Store. The event will last until January 30, 2024 (Tuesday).

Strawberries are sweet and delicious in this cold season. At this event, visitors can enjoy local strawberries from all over Japan and sweets made from fresh strawberries. A wide variety of strawberry sweets, from the classic shortcake to Western and Japanese sweets, will be on display, including confiture and an Amaou drink filled with strawberry pulp.

On January 14 (Sun.) and 15 (Mon.), the "Morning Strawberry Market" will be held at Nishiki Plaza on the first floor, where Kyoto Shibuya Farm's signature "Oi C Berry" will be sold directly from the farm. Visitors can taste freshly picked strawberries that have been carefully selected for their perfect ripeness. During the event period, more than 12 varieties of local strawberries from all over Japan will be sold at the vegetables and fruits section on the basement floor. Enjoy the sweet and sour happiness of strawberries, which are delicious both as they are and as sweets.
