From March 10 (Fri.) to 26 (Sun.), 2023, Gallery Nishikawa in Shijo-Kawaramachi will hold a solo exhibition of Katsuya Ogita, a glass artist who is expanding his activities overseas as well. Katsuya Ougita's works are created using a technique called cold casting, in which the glass is left to nature, leaving it to the heat and gravity. The expression of the glass changes depending on the intensity and angle of the light, and is most distinctive when placed in natural light. Feel the work of Katsuya Ogita, which was created by receiving the shape of light.
