The "Autumn Harvest Festival" is being held until October 10, 2023 (Tue.) on the basement food floor of the Daimaru Kyoto Store.
At this event, where seasonal delicacies are gathered, the "Kyoto Central Market Festival" is held by Kyoto City Central Market, the kitchen that supports Kyoto's food, and Kyoto's famous restaurants, where visitors can purchase carefully selected seasonal seafood from Kyoto and other parts of Japan, freshly filleted in the store's kitchen, sashimi, sushi, and more.
On Saturday, September 30, a tuna dismemberment demonstration will be held, featuring the impressive knife skills of skilled craftsmen, and on Saturday, October 7, Sunday, October 8, and Monday, October 9 (national holidays) (from 11:00 a.m. each day), Kyoto Cuisine Meiseikai will sell specially selected limited box lunches featuring a lavish collaboration of four famous Kyoto restaurants (limit 50 for each day, 2 folds per person).
