The exhibition, "Excavated Masterpieces from the Collection of Hoshino Gallery: Girls: Between Dreams and Hopes," will be held at the Kyoto Culture Museum until September 10, 2023 (Sun.).
In the swell of the times, talented painters have been forgotten for some time. The theme of the exhibition is "Girls" and is selected from the collection of Hoshino Gallery, which has been discovering the wonderful works left behind by these painters. About 120 Japanese and Western-style paintings from the Meiji to Showa periods will be exhibited. Enjoy the charm of these works depicting various aspects of women's lives.
