Kyoto City Museum of School History
The Kyoto City Museum of School History, which maintains artworks created by artists associated with schools and the local community and works donated by local residents, is holding a special exhibition titled "Children in Pictures at School" until June 25 (Sun.).
The exhibition focuses on paintings depicting children, parents and children, as well as textbooks containing stories in which children appear. The exhibition introduces how children have been perceived and expressed in schools. Visitors are invited to feel the feelings toward children that are embodied in the various works.
