An exhibition of Mucha's works as a multi-artist will be held from February 17 (Fri.) to March 26 (Sun.), 2023, at [Museum "Eki" KYOTO] located in the JR Kyoto Station Building.
In fact, the genres he has worked in are very diverse. His graphic and product designs, which combine the graceful female figures and flowers characteristic of Mucha's work, have a different appeal from his paintings.
This exhibition, from the collection of Dr. Zdenek Cimar, who lives in the Czech Republic, will focus on Mucha's work as a multi-artist, with particular attention to his design work among the Mucha art that symbolizes the Belle Epoque era.
