An exhibition introducing the poetry of Zen monks who favored Buddhist stories and Chinese legends, as well as paintings and crafts inherited from temples, will be held at the Shokokuji Jotenkaku Art Museum from March 11 (Sat.) to May 7 (Sun.), 2023.
Interspersed throughout the Buddhist and Zen teachings are numerous anecdotes of predecessors, which were published as textual information in the sutras. You can take a look at an overview of the various tales passed down in the Zen temple.
