A special exhibition, "Great Adventure of Knowledge - The Toyo Bunko: Sparkling Masterpieces from the Toyo Collection" is being held at the Kyoto Culture Museum, one of the five major Eastern Studies research libraries in the world and the largest in Asia in the field of Oriental studies, from February 21, 2023 (Tue) to April 9, 2023 (Sun).
The Toyo Bunko will exhibit approximately 120 valuable items from its collection of approximately one million volumes. In addition to famous books, maps, and paintings that you have seen before, there are also lesser-known scripts, languages, clothing, flora and fauna, and more.
