The Fukuda Museum of Art in Arashiyama, Kyoto, will hold an exhibition of modern Japanese paintings from its collection, including famous painters such as Higashiyama Kaii and Kayama Matazo, from January 28, 2023 (Saturday).
The Fukuda Collection of Modern Japanese Paintings has been further enriched with the addition of approximately 200 works from the collection of Kenji Yamamoto, one of Japan's foremost art collectors. From this new collection, we will introduce masterpieces by artists who revolutionized the world of modern Japanese painting.
