From January 21, 2023 (Sat), a special exhibition entitled "Kuroda Tatsuaki: From the Collection of Tamesaburo Yamamoto" will be held at the Asahi Beer Oyamazaki Villa Museum of Art in Kyoto, Japan.
On the 40th anniversary of the death of Kuroda Tatsuaki (1904-1982), a wood-lacquer craftsman based in Kyoto, this exhibition focuses on the collection of Tamesaburo Yamamoto, the first president of Asahi Beer Company (now Asahi Breweries, Ltd.), which supported the folk art movement and Kuroda's creative activities.
